FOLLOWING the article in Melksham News last issue about defibrillators in the town, we have been asked to point out that there is another defibrillator in Queensway.
The device is sited at Queensway Chapel and means that anyone suffering a heart attack nearby can be treated quickly and have a much higher chance of survival than if waiting for an ambulance.
The town and surrounding villages now has a network of defibrillators in all corners of the community, costing over £30,000.
