THE White Hart at Atworth has a number of gigs and charity events lined up for the coming weeks, for all the community to get involved with.
On Sunday 2nd September, Broughton Gifford’s very own blues and rock band, The Debonaires, will be performing at The White Hart. Organisers say they are “super excited to have such a great local band gig for us.” The concert will run from 4pm to 7pm.
On Saturday 8th September, The White Hart will host a Charity Breakfast club for CLIC Sargent during ‘childhood cancer awareness month’ to raise money and help spread awareness. The event will be held from 9am to 12pm and the whole community is welcome to get involved. Organisers say, “Join us for breakfast, a browse of our books, toys, DVDs and more. Or just pop in for a cup of tea and a piece of cake.”
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
The charity care teams work to limit the damage cancer causes by providing the right support tailored to each young person and family.
All donations will go to the charity, plus 10% of food sales.
On Friday 14th September, the Corinthian Casuals are back with a bang as they gig at The White Hart.
The sax-driven rock n roll, blues and classic pop band have returned to life on the road, and will be playing from 9pm to 11.30pm.
