IN the mood for a boogie? Why not head to the White Hart for some live music.
For the August Bank Holiday weekend, The Buttmonkies come to the White Hart on Sunday 27th August. The three-piece band have over 150 years of gigging experience behind them, but they can still produce a performance of raw energy and power.
They play classic, bluesy rock, but they give the songs their own twist and guarantee an evening of rocky shenanigans. The Buttmonkies will be playing from 8pm until 10.30 pm.
On Friday 1st September local band El-Nino take to the stage offering an electric mix of indie, blues and rock covers. With songs ranging from the likes of the Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jimi Hendrix and Cream to name a few, these guys are a must see for real music lovers.
Music starts at 9pm.
Pink Floyd fans are invited to dance the night away on Sunday 10th September for a special night centred on the music of Pink Floyd performed by singer/guitarist James Hollingsworth. Featuring some of James’s own songs, this is an all-live unique solo show, with James using modern looping technology, with live percussion, voice and guitar effects to build complex arrangements in real time.
James takes to the stage at 4pm until 7pm.
