The Pilot in Bowerhill has live music, bingo, poker, and quiz nights all coming up in the weeks ahead.
This Saturday, 23rd November, local band This Way Up play live at The Pilot. Organisers say, “You asked for them and here they are! This Way Up are the band that ticks all the boxes and, in a word, are ‘partytastic’!
“A local band, This Way Up are dedicated to bringing you the very best sounds of the 50s through to today. Their six highly talented musicians recreate the sounds to as near the original as possible without the need for backing tracks.”
On Saturday 30th November, its Motown night at The Pilot! Organisers say, “Stuart and Rob from the West Wilts Soul Club playing the Motown hits from the 60s and the best of 70s soul and disco with a touch of reggae all on original vinyl. Also featuring live vocals from our very own Rioja!”
On Saturday 7th December, Nick Taylor will be performing hits from the 80s in ‘The Ultimate 80s Show’ from 9pm. Organisers say, “Nick has worked with many 80s’ icons, including Tony Hadley Spandau Ballet, Heather Small, Hazel Dean, Bucks Fizz, Bon Jovi, Modern Romance and many others – so a fun night is guaranteed!”
Regular weekly events include bingo on Mondays 8pm; poker on Wednesdays at 7.30pm; and quiz nights on Thursdays at 9pm.
