Looking forward to Christmas? The residents and staff at Brookside Residential Home in Melksham are, and would like to invite everyone to join them to get the Christmas season off to a really festive start.
Esther Thomas, manager of Brookside said, “In the run up to Christmas we are preparing and hosting a ‘Living Nativity’ and you’re all invited to join in. Young, old, whoever, come along and meet Terese and Temujin, two beautiful regal camels, along with Eros the donkey, who will guide you through the town to Bethlehem (otherwise known as Brookside).
“We would ask that you please do come along dressed in character, meeting in the Market Place (date and times to be confirmed) to follow Mary, Joseph and the three wise men to Bethlehem, where you will be greeted at the stable with a warm welcome, hot soup and refreshments, to keep out the cold.
“Join in our outdoor carol service with the churches of Melksham. What better way to start the festive season. At the same time raising money for Dementia UK.
“Keep watching the local press for more details.”
