A donation of £581.35 was presented to Melksham 60 Plus Club at their meeting on Tuesday 4th July at Queensway Chapel, by the family of the late long-term member Margaret Haines.
Margaret’s daughter, Corinne Reynolds, presented the cheque to the club chairman, Rosemary Nash and vice chairman Pam Coates.
A club spokesperson said, “It was decided by the family that proceeds from the late Margaret Haines’ funeral should go to Melksham 60 Plus Club where Margaret was one of the longest serving members.
“Everyone at the 60 Plus Club would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the family. This kind gesture is much appreciated by us all.”
