A Local pub is holding a Remembrance Buffet on Remembrance Sunday with all proceeds going to the Melksham Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
The Market Tavern in the Market Place is having the buffet on Sunday 10th November from 9am, offering bacon or egg butties and tea and coffee from 9am.
“We will be providing a pit stop before the Remembrance Parade,” says landlord, Rob Carter. “Guests can enjoy delicious bacon or egg butties, paired with a hot cup of tea or coffee, all for just £2.50 with 100% of the proceeds going directly into the Poppy Appeal and Melksham Royal British Legion.
“It’s a cause very close to our hearts. Last year we had a fantastic turnout and are hoping for similar support this year. We look forward to seeing you and having a cuppa or sarny while doing a bit of good to help those who have served.”
