The next lunchtime recital at the Rachel Fowler Centre will be on Thursday 31st October and will feature John Gutteridge, a bass/baritone.
“He has a lovely voice and his programme includes some well-known English songs and some light-hearted and jazzy songs,” says organiser Lesley Windebank. “He is bringing a new accompanist, Kate Robey, who plays the piano and cello professionally.”
“Two weeks later, on Thursday 14th November, we are delighted to welcome back Jane Hunt, the soprano with the fabulous voice and incredible presence.”
The recitals all begin at 12.30pm and last about 45 minutes.
Light refreshments will be available from noon. There is no charge, but donations towards the maintenance of the Rachel Fowler Centre are always appreciated.
