Melksham’s Macapello choir has started to rehearse for their Melksham concert in July.
The choir is being led for the summer by two new choir leaders, Dave and Lisa King, who are experienced singing teachers in the local area and accomplished professional singers.
Dave said, “Macapello is a fun and fantastic community choir which meets every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm at Aloeric School. Anyone who would love to sing in harmony is welcome – you don’t need to be able to read music, and you don’t even need to have sung before! We sing all kinds of songs from all over the world, pop, jazz, folk, classical and the emphasis is on fun!”
Lisa said, “Now is a great time to join the choir as we start to practice new pieces for our concert at St Andrew’s Church in Melksham. It would be lovely to see anyone who would like to find out what Macapello is all about.”
Dave King can be contacted on 07849 060243. Find out more about the choir on www.macapello.co.uk or Facebook.
