Melksham 60+ Club urgently requires a volunteer to chair the club.
They say, “The club meets on a Tuesday afternoon on a weekly basis with a once a month jaunt on a Thursday. Meeting times are 1.45pm to 3.45pm. The age group is at the moment from 60 years to 95 years and primarily ladies.
“This club has been running for many years and has an active membership of 35-45 regulars. We meet to have a game of bingo for which we usually have a caller, enjoy refreshments and a chat. We have a committee of 10 who would support anyone to take on the role of organization, committee meetings etc and the responsibility of making sure that the club runs smoothly.
“Anyone interested could come along on a Tuesday afternoon for a couple of sessions to meet the members and see how everything runs and we could explain what would be required of you.
