A care home in Melksham is inviting local people aged 65 and over to join them for a variety of free events and activities.
Blenheim House Care Home is inviting older residents to join in with coffee mornings, craft sessions, music afternoons and social gatherings.
“We want to offer a warm and welcoming space where everyone can feel part of the Blenheim family,” said events manager Chris Preston.
“All we ask is that anyone interested in attending give us a call or send an email so we can make sure there’s a friendly face ready to greet them.”
The first event ran on 16th July and saw a performance by the Male Voice Choir. The next event will be a community cafe on Sunday 6th August from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
This will be followed by the Philip Herman Viola Concert from 2.30pm on Tuesday 12th August. On 23rd August, there will be a Willy Wonka Garden Party at 2pm.
Chris said, “We look forward to meeting new friends and helping to bring the Melksham community even closer together.”
