A charity shop set up to inspire and raise funds for local young musicians has closed its premises at on Melksham’s High Street.
Harmony, which opened in 2016, aimed to support existing local musicians, bands and artists of all ages.
Along with selling second-hand clothes, toys and household items, the shop also ran local music events.
In a statement about the closure, the team said they wanted to express their ‘sincere’ thanks for the community’s support over the last eight years and acknowledged the closure may come as a surprise to residents.
“We have cherished the opportunity to serve you in Melksham and create a community within our shop. Thank you for being a part of our journey and we will forever be grateful for the memories and relationships we’ve built. We will miss you all and we wish you the very best for the future.”
The shop, located at 24 High Street, closed on 30th April. Melksham News have contacted the shop to find out the reasons for closure but is still awaiting a response.
