Melksham Choral Society is starting its 2016 season with an English Folksong-based concert.
Chairman Sue Lamprell said, “Rehearsals are going well with conductor Paul Badley and pianist Sue Law moving us from the gloom of winter into the brightness of spring.
“A gentle evening of well-known folksong arrangements centred on John Rutter’s cycle of folk-song settings called ‘The Sprig of Thyme’ will be performed in Melksham United Church on Saturday 16th April at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on the door and will shortly be available from Melksham TIC and choir members.”
