MELKSHAM couple, Allan and Edna Gullis, celebrated 77 years of marriage this month.
The couple married on 6th May 1944 at St Michael’s Church, Canon Square. The couple first met during World War II in 1941 at the Kings Arms in the Market Place.
Due to Covid restrictions, the couple enjoyed a more low-key celebration compared to their 75th anniversary, when their family treated them to a dinner and an evening 1940s tea dance at the Assembly Hall.
