The Melksham Gardeners’ Society held their AGM on March 28th at the Rachel Fowler Centre with the Committee standing down.
After re-election took place and announcements pertaining to past and future events and club finances; we proceeded with a talk and demonstration on Spring Flowers by the talented Kathryn Crouch. She made a beautiful hand-tied bouquet and table centre piece (along with a rather fetching bridal headpiece) and donated them to the club – the lucky winners were much envied – thank you to the lovely Kathryn, it was interesting, informative, informal and fun.
A very big thank you to all the members who have supported the club each month along with all the guest speakers who have come to talk or demonstrate on their areas of expertise.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday 25th April at the Rachel Fowler Centre at 7.30pm with a talk by John Tucker on Let’s Grow Vegetables. New members and Guests are always welcome. £1 for members, £2 for guests. For more information please contact Tel: 702716 or Email: melksham_gardeners@live.co.uk
