THE Melksham Gardeners’ Society’s 11th Open Flower and Produce Show will be held next week on Sunday 8th September.
The show will be held at the Assembly Hall from 2pm to 5pm.
Chairperson Barbara Cropp says, “Show programmes and entry forms are now available from the Tourist Information Centre, Melksham Town Hall and Flowers in Focus. They are also available on our website: www.melksham gardeners society.co.uk
“There is still time to enter – the last date for entries is Sunday 1st September. You don’t have to be an expert gardener, craftsperson or cook to enter. Have a go! There is something within each category to suit all ages and abilities, and don’t forget all children who enter will get a small prize for every entry.
“If you intend to enter we need your entry forms back by Sunday the 1st September – details of where to return these are on the back of the programme.
“Various stalls will be on display – this is a chance to pick up some lovely items from our stall holders. And there is as an opportunity to view the exhibits, which include fruit, vegetables, photography, baking, preserves and young exhibitors.”
Melksham in Bloom winners will be presented with their awards at the event.
