MELKSHAM Gardeners’ Society held another successful annual show, the 9th Garden & Produce Show.
Chair of the gardeners’ society, Barbara said, “Thanks to all who entered or came to our show on the 10th September. It was very successful but without you we couldn’t make it the event that it is turning into. Thanks again to all the volunteers and to all the exhibitors who I know take a lot of care to ensure that their exhibits are brought to the hall on time and staged to the best advantage. Congratulations to the winners – enjoy polishing your silver cups till next year.”
The winners were: The Countrywide Cup and Voucher: Mick Company closely followed by Beth Dark. The Chairman’s Cup: Abbie Dark (Aged 14). Flowers: Mick Company. Vegetables: Mick Company. Fruit: Mick Company. Young Exhibitors 3-8 years: Evie Channon. Young Exhibitors 9-15 years: Abbie Dark.
Meetings are held at the Rachel Fowler Centre on the last Tuesday of the month, commencing at 7.30pm.
