Local girl, Erin Willis, aged 6 years old, took on the big boss of a national play centre and pub restaurant brand, in her role as one of the company’s recently recruited Little Leaders.
The natural-born leader, Erin, from Melksham, beat off stiff competition from over 200 youngsters to win a place on a board of 10 mini executives for Wacky Warehouse and Fayre & Square, which includes the Mill House on Bath Road.
Visiting the company’s head office in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, she took to her new role in style leaving boss Nick Young, Operations Director for Wacky Warehouse and Fayre & Square, feeling hot under the collar.
Along with the nine other Little Leaders, Erin was instrumental in making demands and suggesting changes – calling for themed birthday parties and an official song for Wacky Warehouse – that will now be implemented later in the year across all Wacky Warehouse’s and Fayre & Square’s throughout the country.
Maria Willis, Erin’s mum, said: “Erin was so excited to get into the boardroom and makes some demands. It’s not every day kids can tell us adults what to do – and know that they are actually listening. She loved every minute and couldn’t wait to tell the boss he was fired!”
Footage from the boardroom session can be seen here www.facebook.com/wackywarehouse.
