A MELKSHAM grandmother has produced her own CD to raise money for Help for Heroes.
Sally Startin used to be well-known locally for her performances in the band Gypsies and has since gone on to record three charity albums. Her latest album is inspired by her idol Kris Kristofferson includes eight tracks and is called ‘Sally Startin Sings Kristofferson.’
Sally said, “I have raised about £2,000 since I started my charity CDs and I hope to raise as much as possible with my latest one. I chose Help for Heroes as it is a fantastic cause and as we live in a military county, it is very relevant. Previously I have also raised money for Bristol Children’s Hospital.”
