IF you see yourself as the next Bruce Petty, Melksham in Bloom applications are now open for you to show off your green-fingers with the closing date on Sunday 1st July and judging taking place on Tuesday 10th July.
There has been new categories added this year in the residential section including: Best floral frontage, for those residential properties with no front garden; Best innovative garden design; Best wildlife friendly garden, and Best environmentally friendly garden for schools.
There will be a presentation ceremony for the winners and runners up on Sunday 9th September at Melksham Assembly Hall as part of the Melksham Gardeners Society’s Flower and Produce Show.
