Melksham Lions donated £2,000 to local charities and welcomed a new member at their meeting earlier this month at the King’s Arms.
Cheques of £1,000 were given to both the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Freewheelers (Blood Bikes), following donations from the club’s successful Easter events.
During the meeting new member Ralph McCoombe was also welcomed.
“If anyone would like to come along and see what the Melksham Lions do, we meet every second Monday at the Kings Arms for a 7.15pm start,” says Lion, Paul Carter.
