This year’s Melksham Open Gardens event takes place on Sunday 21st July.
Organisers say, “We have over a dozen gardens of all types and styles open to view from 1.00pm to 6.00pm in the afternoon. Tickets cost £5 and are available in advance from the Tourist Information Centre and the Town Hall and from the steps of the Town Hall on the day. Children are free. Cream teas will be served from 2.00pm in Place Road and cost £3.
“All the proceeds will go to the Children’s Society helping their invaluable work with runaway, abused and vulnerable children. Our grateful thanks go to the very kind gardeners of Melksham who take part in this annual fundraiser for the Children’s Society.”
