To round off Melksham’s Summer Spectacular this year, 16 gardeners are opening their gardens for the annual Melksham Open Gardens event.
It has become a popular summer afternoon activity around the country and in Melksham it raises a lot of money for the Children’s Society.
The gardens will be open on Sunday 23rd July between 1.00pm and 6.00pm and cream teas will, as usual, be available in Place Road from 2.00pm.
There are some new gardens, some old favourites, some prize winning gardens and some having recently undergone a makeover.
Tickets cost £5 for adults (children are free) and can be purchased from the Town Hall or Tourist Information Centre in advance and from the Town Hall steps on the day.
