This year’s popular open gardens event will take place on Sunday 19th July in aid of The Children’s Society.
Residents across Melksham will welcome visitors to view their gardens. Cream teas are available as usual in Place Road and funds raised go towards The Children’s Society, which supports vulnerable children and young people.
Organiser Lesley Windebank said, “We had a record number of gardens open last year and raised lots of money for The Children’s Society as well as drawing visitors to the town from quite far afield.
“If you have been slaving over a hot border or battling stubborn weeds, now is an ideal opportunity to let others see and appreciate your hard work while at the same time raising money for a very worthwhile cause.”
