KATE Morris-Double, who lives in Melksham, has launched a new book subscription box and podcast for adventurous readers aged 8-12.
Tales by Mail (www.talesbymail.com) will deliver two brilliant books, author letters, signed bookplates, activity sheets and surprises to bookworms around the world.
Kate launched the business on April 2nd (in prime lockdown time) and along with her business partner, Libby Harris, she has been preparing their first boxes to go out in the post in June. Each box will have a fun theme, with the June boxes being Mansion House Mysteries!
Kate says: “Both Libby and I have been obsessed with reading since we were children. Our love of books has allowed us to explore new worlds, sparked our imaginations, widened our vocabulary and introduced us to characters we would never meet in real life. Through Tales by Mail, I hope we can help instil the same sense of curiosity and wonder into the next generation of book-lovers.”

Libby says: “Our boxes bring surprises straight to the homes of young book-lovers every other month and combine the appeal of the digital age with the good old-fashioned book (without kids having to stare at a screen!). Tales by Mail is open for new subscribers now. Membership options are available for 1-6 boxes and prices start from £19.50 per box.
