The AGM of Melksham Speakers Club was held on 10th July.
It was reported that the club had an excellent year with new members joining, and members receiving certificates for their achievements as well as attending the national conference and obtaining second place the in National Evaluation Competition.
On 12th June the members celebrated the 5th year since the club started and enjoyed an evening meal at Casa. The club is now having a rest for the summer and commences again on 11th September when new members will be made welcome.
If you wish to gain confidence in everything that you do, please join us and surprise yourself at what you can achieve with hard work and commitment.
Every journey begins with just one step and a baby falls 3,000 times before it learns to walk. We do not stop it from trying, but put it back on its feet and encourage it to try again. With support and encouragement that you receive from the members, you too will be a better presenter, better speaker and better leader and have confidence in everything that you do. Your future is in your own hands. You will be made welcome.
