A remembrance service will take place in Melksham to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day), which marked the end of World War II in the Pacific.
The short service will be held at the war memorial in Canon Square on Friday 15th August at 6pm, followed by the ringing of the bells at St Michael’s Church at 6.30pm.
