AFTER a positive pre-season, Melksham Town FC have decided to open their doors and throw a party as a thank you to all their supporters.
Headlining the evening will be tribute band the Mangledwurzels and entry is free! A three-piece Scrumpy & Western band, the Mangledwurzels are based in Somerset and write and perform in the style of Adge Cutler. Formed in 2005, the band have established themselves across the West Country with their highly entertaining live performances blending classic Wurzels songs with self-penned original compositions and pop standards ‘Mangled’ in true Wurzels tradition.
To get punters in the mood for the West Country music night, a selection of guest ciders will be available behind the bar.
The Sky Bar at Oakfield Stadium opens at 4pm with doors opening for the Mangledwurzels at 6pm with the band performing later in the evening.
