MELKSHAM’S vaccination centre at Spencer Sports and Social Club will be reopening this week to help support the national drive to give Covid booster jabs to all eligible adults by end of the year.
The vaccination centre, which was due to reopen in January, is to reopen its doors this week, on Wednesday 15th December.
Appointments can be made via the National Booking Service.
On behalf of the Melksham and Bradford on Avon Primary Care Network (PCN), Dr Abby Burgess said, “Following the announcement made by the government on Sunday evening (12th December) advising that the target to vaccinate every adult has been brought forward to 31st December 2021, Melksham and Bradford on Avon PCN are pleased to announce that we will be offering vaccination clinics at Spencer’s from Wednesday 15th December and continue into 2022.
“To book these clinic appointments you need to use the National Booking Service or 119. Your GP surgery is not able to book appointments for you. The clinic will not be able to accept any walk ins.”
