Melksham Messy Church is hosting another Messy Church Summer Fun Holiday Club this August.
Organiser Hannah Tarring said, “Last year, we enjoyed a week of exploring adventurers of the Bible and gathering together for messy activities, songs, worship, stories and games.
“This year, Holiday Club is all about Superheroes! We will be running from Monday 5th – Friday 9th August from 11-12.30 at Queensway Chapel. All children and families are welcome, it’s free and there’s no need to book. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
“Holiday Club is a great opportunity to spend time together as a family, meet new friends and get creative. Please bring a packed lunch Monday – Thursday and enjoy a fish & chip lunch on Friday!
“Come along to learn about the superheroes of the Bible and their superpowers: courage, loyalty, strength, faith and kindness. This year’s activities include making shields and swords, making paper boats, puppet making, cress planting, rainbow painting, creating animal masks and breadmaking.
“Messy Church at Forest & Sandridge School will not be meeting in August but will be back at the usual time of 4-5.30pm on Sunday 22nd September.”
