With the usual monthly sessions of Melksham Messy Church taking a break during August, the church is hosting a holiday club this summer. Messy Church Summer Fun is from the 6th – 10th August at Queensway Chapel, from 11am-12.30pm.
The summer club will explore the theme of adventure, with each day looking at a different character in the Bible. There will be stories, games, celebration, worship and lots of messy craft! It’s free and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children can bring packed lunches on Monday to Thursday, and there will be a pizza party on Friday.
Melksham Messy Church will be celebrating its first birthday at the next event on Sunday 22nd July 4-5.30pm at Forest and Sandridge School.
The theme will be the Lord’s Prayer, with crafts relating to different parts of the prayer, along with the usual story, worship, song and shared meal. There will be birthday cake too!
It’s free (donations welcome) and open to all families whether they come regularly or whether they’ve never been to church before.
