TICKETS are still available for the final showings of Melksham Music and Drama’s pantomime, ‘Dick Whittington and his Cat’.
With four shows under their belts, the dramatic society will perform the final four shows this week on Thursday 16th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th February. Shows are at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
On a journey to London, Dick meets Tommy the Cat and falls in love with Alice Fitzwarren, but King Rat foils everything and they go to Morocco. On the way they are shipwrecked and captured by the king’s guards but they help rid the country of a plague of rats and Dick comes back a rich man with Alice and they all live happy ever after.
The play is written by Ben Crocker, directed by Justin Haggett and Carol Mitcham and produced by Geoff Mitcham. Tickets are available from Melksham Tourist Information or www.mmad.org.uk.
