Melksham Town Wildcats’ girls only football sessions are up and running for school years 1 to 5 at Melksham Town FC.
The club reports, “The year 4 and 5 sessions are on Wednesdays 6pm till 7pm, and the year 1 to 3 sessions are on Thursday 6pm till 7pm at Oakfields, home of Melksham Town FC. The sessions are all based on the girls having fun, making new friends and learning new skills.
“England Ladies start their World Cup campaign in June, hoping to win the trophy for the first time and we hope this will fuel the girls’ participation with these age groups. The club currently has over 100 female players playing at the club with girls from year 1 at Wildcats up to ladies (league champions) and has one of the largest female sections in the county.
“If you have a daughter interested in attending a Wildcats session please contact robbridges@ blueyonder.co.uk
