THE Melksham-based One Voice Community Choir is back in business this month, after a long break.
The group, formed in 2016 was, like so many other organisations, forced to close in March 2020 when Covid-19 took hold and didn’t reform until August of this year.
While the pandemic is far from over, the singers are pleased to be meeting once more and working on an offering for the festive season – the choir’s first performance for two years.
‘One Voice Community Choir Re-United for Christmas’ is on 18th December at the United Church, High Street, starting at 7pm.
The choir says, “Expect popular songs, sacred melodies and carols for everyone to join in, along with refreshments. The room will be well-ventilated and face-coverings optional. Admission £8 at the door.”
