AN application to build a hotel, coffee shop and sandwich shop in Melksham has been given the green light by Wiltshire Council.
The development will be situated on land south of The Milk Churn, just off Commerce Way. The development will include a 60-bedroom Travelodge hotel and integrated Greggs sandwich shop together with a drive-thru Starbucks coffee shop. There will be 84 parking spaces, six disabled parking spaces and five covered cycle storage spaces.
Melksham Town Council and Melksham Without Parish Council both welcomed the development and The Milk Churn also fully supported the application.
