The Tourist Information Centre in Church Street is planning on a new display section entitled ‘Made in Melksham’.
TIC is asking local people within the craft world to get in touch with the manager, Janine Miller, with a view to offering them the chance to show off their talent.
For example, do you make jewellery, design pictures from buttons and beads, make soft toys (preferably not too large) cross stitch work, embroidery, etc.? If so, contact Janine Miller on 707424, or call in to make an appointment to show them what you have to offer.
There will be no charge for this display, but sales will require a small commission to the TIC, an independent organisation which relies on the public and a few grants from local sponsors for which they are always grateful.
Do get in touch – it’s your TIC and you can help to keep them going.
