If you’ve been house hunting in Melksham recently, you might have already crossed paths with the newest face at Lock & Key estate agents – James Canty.
Melksham born and bred, aside from a brief stint living in the US at age 11, James has joined the busy team at Lock & Key and is already making waves with his energy, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the local area.
“He’s hit the ground running,” said Lock & Key’s owner Nigel Fitzgerald. “James brings a fantastic level of energy and local insight to the team. He’s passionate about property and genuinely enjoys helping people find the right place to call home.”
James has been busy meeting clients, arranging viewings and flying the flag for Lock & Key around town. He says he’s excited to be playing a part in helping people settle in Melksham – a town he’s proud to call home himself.
“Melksham is a brilliant place to live, and I love being out and about chatting to buyers and showing them what the area has to offer,” said James. “There’s something really satisfying about matching people with the right property; it’s not just about bricks and mortar, it’s about finding the right fit.”
When he’s not working, James enjoys running, swimming, spontaneous road trips, gaming on his PS5, and has a soft spot for 90s Japanese cars. He’s also a keen explorer and is always up for discovering somewhere new.
“James has slotted into the team perfectly,” added Nigel. “He’s approachable, motivated, and already proving to be a great asset to our clients. We’re lucky to have him.”
