A business grant of up to £2,000 is available for those aged 18 to 30 years old who live in Wiltshire or Swindon and are running a small business, or starting one in the next six months.
Wiltshire Community Foundation is working with South West Enterprise Fund (SWEF) to provide this new business grant helping young people develop their business ideas.
To be eligible to apply, applicants must be aged 18 to 30 years old; live in Wiltshire or Swindon; planning to start their own business within the next six months or running their own business which has been trading for no more than two years; without easy access to other sources of finance.
Wiltshire Community Foundation said, “Grants can be used towards capital items and running costs such as: stock, equipment and materials or rent and business-related bills. “We prioritise applications from groups that are often underrepresented in business, including people on low incomes, women, migrants, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, people with few or no formal qualifications.
“As part of the programme, SWEF provides the opportunity to join a network of peers who are also in the early stage of starting their business to share ideas, experiences and learn.”
Applications are open all year.
