ARE you a musician who likes playing with others but no longer wants to pack your kit up at midnight after a quiet pub gig, or queuing up for ages waiting on an open mic slot?
If so, there’s a new club in Melksham for musicians to come together at the Riverside Centre.
One of the organisers Chris Pickett said, “If you love making music but can only do it at home in your bedroom but would like to share it with other likeminded people, here is an opportunity that we have been longing for. We have a taster session for the new club where we invite singers, songwriters, harmonica or woodwind players, guitar pickers or strummers, all musical abilities, to meet up and chat, practice together, exchange ideas and maybe collaborate and form a small group.
“The date for this exciting event here in Melksham is going to be Wednesday 14th June at 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The venue has all we need including free parking, free WiFi, comfortable chairs, an airy hall and kitchen for drinks. Come along to the Riverside Centre on Bath Road, SN12 6LP.”
