A MELKSHAM mental health charity is starting a new evening group for people concerned about their mental health.
Wiltshire Mind, based in the town centre, will soon start its first ever evening meeting group on Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm.
Chief executive Carolyn Beale said, “Do you feel depressed, anxious and unable to cope? You are not alone – one in three of us will feel like this at some point in our lives. Wiltshire Mind is here to support you.
“We run a variety of support groups and provide one-to-one counselling in Wiltshire. The support groups have historically been run during the day, but we are beginning our first evening group which has been set up to support those in work.
“The new evening group will start on 7th March and will be held at our Melksham office on a Tuesday evening every week between 6 to 8pm. If you think that you would benefit from coming along, meeting others in a similar situation then please do attend.”
This group is being supported by a grant from the Melksham Area Board, Health but further funding will be required.
Wiltshire Mind is not funded by National Mind and does not receive funding from any statutory authority. Anyone interested in fundraising for the charity is invited to contact them.
