THERE’S fun for all the family at Melksham Assembly Hall this weekend.
This Sunday 17th February, the Assembly Hall will launch its new monthly roller disco. Organisers say, “After having an amazing response to our New Year roller disco we’ve decided to bring it to Melksham every month starting in February!
“We are putting this on in collaboration with Toe Jam Roller, starting on Sunday 17th February we’ll be having a roller disco on every third Sunday of the month.
“The times are: 2.30pm-4.00pm and 4.30pm-6.00pm. Tickets are £5 which includes skate hire and safety equipment.”
The performance by classic BRIT Award winners, Blake, scheduled for this Saturday, 16th February, has been postponed. They will come to the Assembly Hall instead on Friday 11th October.
A spokesperson from the Assembly Hall said, “Unfortunately Blake’s management have taken the decision to postpone Blake. The new date is Friday 11th October.
“Everyone who has already bought Blake tickets, your tickets have already been transferred to the new date and are valid for entry.
“If you are unable to make the new date, 11th October, then please get in contact with the outlet from which you purchased the tickets to receive a refund or an exchange of tickets for a different event of the same monetary value. We are sorry to cause you this inconvenience and thank you for your patience. If you bought your tickets through the Assembly Hall directly then please call us on 01225709887.”
The performance of comedy show ‘Trumped – Funding the Wall Tour’ scheduled for Friday 22nd February has been cancelled.
A spokesperson from the Assembly Hall said, “Due to low ticket sales the agent for Trumped has decided to cancel the show.
“If this affects you then please get in contact with the outlet from which you bought your tickets to receive a refund or exchange your tickets for another performance.
“We are really sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you and we are willing to help you in any way that we can. If you bought your tickets through the Assembly Hall directly then please call us on 01225 709887.”
Also coming up at the Assembly Hall, crowds will be entertained by Purple Zeppelin – The Ultimate Rock Tribute Show, and comedian Rich Hall’s Hoedown.
