TWO new parent and child classes will begin at Bowerhill Village Hall on Wed. 24th February.
Music with Mummy and Jolly Babies are new classes which have been especially created for children under the age of three.
Mags Stirling who will be running the classes said, “Music with Mummy takes children on a musical journey through structured weekly music classes with the use of baby songs and fun activities.
“It is all designed to encourage listening and social skills, essential not only in music but all other areas of learning. Children will learn a sense of rhythm, which will also help with learning and speech development.
“The fabulous music and songs for babies and young children is an eclectic mixture of traditional tunes that are unique to our programme.
“Jolly Babies is the start of our musical journey. It is astonishing how much fun we can have in half an hour. We will wave and clap, sing and dance. Simple percussion become a favourite, as will the bouncing songs and bubbles. This is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your baby, to make new friends and to have fun. (From birth to approx 12 months).
The Wednesday class will take place at Bowerhill Village Hall, Halifax Road, Bowerhill. Music with Mummy – 10.30am, Jolly Babies – 11.15am. Call Mags to book your free trial on 07753 504229; email mags.stirling@gmail.com or visit
