New Resource, a local recruitment and employment agency has opened their Melksham office at 17 Market Place, Melksham.

They are supporting large and small, local businesses in Melksham, Trowbridge, Westbury, Frome, Devizes, Calne, Corsham, Bradford on Avon and Chippenham areas. They are a full service recruitment agency, meaning they will supply staff to practically all disciplines.

This includes;  temporary or short-term assignments, including manual labour, industrial, warehouse, production, office, administration etc.

They also provide permanent staff with a diverse range of skills, for all sectors, ranging from office, finance, HR, customer service, sales, technical, engineering, IT, operations and management.

For specialised, senior, niche or confidential roles, they will discreetly headhunt for key individuals, on a nationwide basis.

The Melksham team has in excess of 60 years of combined local recruitment knowledge, allowing them to work effectively and professionally, in partnership with local companies.

Most of the team has previously worked together for many years at another long-established, local recruitment agency, but after it was acquired and following a succession of changes, they individually moved on and have now returned to working together at New Resource.

“It means a fresh opportunity to bring our combined experience to the area and to re-establish our ethos of providing high levels of customer service, integrity and professionalism,” explained Ian Constant, director at New Resource.

“Companies are benefiting from this approach and we are supplying permanent and temporary staff to many key local organisations.

“The employment market has changed considerably during the last year, with roles harder to fulfil due to the lack of available candidates,” added Ian. “New Resource assist and provide advice to companies to overcome these challenges and to also ensure compliance with current living wage levels, pension auto enrolment and the new GDPR data protection rules.

“During this sustained period of low unemployment, companies are finding it difficult to attract good calibre candidates for both permanent and temporary staff.

“The New Resource team are all deeply experienced and appreciate the business challenges companies face. Our methods, processes and systems, enable us to search out and find those individuals. We commit all our effort to ensure we deliver a first class service to companies.

“In addition, our ethical charter ensures all candidates are treated with respect and understanding, as we work with them to find them relevant jobs.”

For local companies requiring new staff – contact New Resource:

• Dave Butler, Samantha Field (nee Owen), Chelsea Mcardle, Sharon Chapman and Ian Constant will be pleased to take care of all your staffing needs in the local area. Tel: 01225 708040.

For individuals looking for a new job, career change or short-term temporary work, contact New Resource to arrange a confidential meeting to discuss your career options.
