A number of Wiltshire Council libraries, including Melksham, will keep the county reading by providing an order and collect service, following the introduction of the national Covid-19 restrictions.
Wiltshire Council say that the libraries will continue to offer an order and collect service and bookable computers, just as they have done recently.
They say, “The council’s mobile library service, which only got back on the road recently, will unfortunately not be operating at present but this will be regularly reviewed.
“All items currently borrowed, that were due back from 9 November onwards, will continue to be automatically renewed.
“All libraries offering this service will follow social distancing and Covid-19 secure guidelines.”
Further information about order and collect, including how to place an order and book a computer, can be found at https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/libraries-order-collect. People must book a computer in advance of attending.
