The children and staff at Kingfisher Nursery School are busy planning a new exciting outdoor project for their garden area.
After receiving some funding from Wiltshire Council towards the project, Di Drinkwater, from ‘Planting Partners’, a garden design and management business in Great Hinton, came to visit the nursery.
She gave advice on the best way to use a small area of the garden to develop a nature area incorporating a small pond to encourage further wildlife in the garden. The children offered many creative ideas and together with Di and the staff at the nursery, a plan of action is now ready to begin, starting with lots of digging which the children are really looking forward to.
Kingfisher Nursery would like to thank G & S Patios, Whitehall Garden Centre and Asda for their kind donations towards the project and of course Di Drinkwater, for her time and welcomed advice.
The nursery is also taking bookings for September 2014 for 2 to 4 year olds. Anyone interested, please phone 01225 790296.
