MEMBERS of the Melksham Singin’ Group performed their annual pantomime last month.
“Panto time came to the Riverside Centre, thanks to the amazing efforts of Jeanette Nash,” said Sue Mortimer. “Jeanette and Mike run the Singin’ Group at the Riverside every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm.
“Annually (Covid years excepted) Jeanette writes a pantomime that is performed by members of the Singin’ Group to an audience of the rest of their group and friends. Performance was a freebie. This year’s panto was Ella and The Prince – a story of unrequited love, intrigue and passion; (Cinderella with an unexpected twist.)
“The hall was full to capacity and the panto went down very well. It was a hoot from start to finish and judging by the rapturous applause, everyone had a really good time. Thank you, Jeanette, for writing the panto. It was much appreciated – can’t wait for next year!”
