Vision Tours, the local luxury coach tour operator is offering a variety of day trips and short breaks to enjoy as we head towards the colder months.
Trips include to Dorchester market and Poole Quay, Elan Valley, Bridgwater Carnival and various Christmas markets, as well as short breaks to Blackpool, Isle of Wight and Eastbourne.
On Wednesday 19th September take a coach to Dorchester Market and Pool Quay. Enjoy the journey to the county of Dorset and to Dorchester for its weekly market. There are over 500 stalls selling a vast variety of products, ranging from local produce, second hand bric-a-brac and antiques. Later in the day, there will be free time at Poole Quay with its cafes, shops and beautiful views of the harbour. Price is £22.50.
On Thursday 20th September take a coach to the Elan Valley for a tour! Part of the rugged Cambrian Mountains in Wales, Elan is beautiful and unspoilt. A ranger joins the coach for a spectacular guided tour. Price is £34.50.
On Saturday 3rd November take a coach to Bridgwater for their carnival. One of Europe’s largest illuminated carnivals and the oldest event of its kind in the UK. Over 300,000 light bulbs will be lighting the skyline as the carts meander around the streets. Includes lovely two-course carvery lunch and a short visit to Burnham on Sea.
