The team behind Melksham Open Gardens are busy planning for this year’s event and are calling for people to get involved.
Due to be held on Sunday 20th July, the event sees residents from across town open their gardens to the public and allow the community to enjoy their hard work in aid of The Children’s Society.
Organiser Lesley Windebank said, “The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and many people are now thinking about their gardens.
“However, the members of The Children’s Society in Melksham are thinking about scones, fancy cakes and white tablecloths. We are busy planning this year’s Open Garden event and the all-important cream teas.
“We would very much like more Melksham gardeners to participate in this traditional, enjoyable and worthwhile event which raises so much money for The Children’s Society.”
