Great Chalfield is a beautiful medieval manor given to the National Trust in 1943 by Robert Fuller.
The manor recently featured in the BBC production of ‘Wolf Hall’, and is the perfect setting for the Plant Fair on Sunday 1st May from 10.30am to 4pm.
A great time for plant hunting and buying in the forecourt of the Manor, next to the Parish Church. You will also have an opportunity to wander around the beautiful Arts and Crafts gardens designed by Alfred Parsons RA and enjoy tea in the barn (provided by Jamie’s Farm) and a barbecue provided by The Fox at Broughton Gifford.
Admission is £3 for adults (including Members of the National Trust); children are free.
Come and enjoy a productive visit and support the Garden at Great Chalfield and Jamie’s Farm, based in Box, which provides a unique combination of family, farming and therapy to help transform the lives of vulnerable urban children.
