The next live music night at the Cons Club in Melksham is the popular local covers band People Like Us on Saturday, 9th November.
“Come prepared to sing, dance, join in and have a great night!” says the club.
“They are a Devizes based covers band formed in 2016, well known for their unique sound and slightly ridiculous sense of humour! Expect to hear some of your favourite songs, ‘lovingly butchered’ into a semi acoustic arrangement of piano, guitar and cajon!
Entry is £5; non-members are welcome.
Also coming up is a night with Dave Curran from Weston-super-Mare with music from the 50s, 60s and 70s plus an Elvis tribute on Saturday 30th November. Entry is free.
There is also a quiz night on Sunday 24th November, 7pm for 7.30pm start; £3 per person with maximum of four people per team. Cash prizes and raffle; non-members welcome.
The club also offer poker every Wednesday in the Red Tooth Poker League; 7.30pm start; £5 to play.
